Shanghai

Landed at Pudong International Airport safely...an hour ride fom there lands me at Fudan University!!! ITS MASSIVE!!!! haha...presently Shanghai appears to be a mixture of rural india and urban singapore...the area where Fudan is located is largely sub-urban...there still is STARBUCKS, PIZZA HUT, HAGAN DAZ..what not...bicycles are essential!!!! Its a huge space and travelling from one location to another requires lotsa wallking...(cycling is definitely much favoured)...my mediocre cycling skills are gonna be put thru a rather tough test...IVE NEVER RODE ON THE ROADS BEFORE...HAHA...even wen cycling for leisure...ahem...the skills arent up 2 the standard yet..lol...anyway...lotsa interesting sights and places to photograph....looking forward to an interesting experience ahead...PS: they have condom vending machines along the pavements...apparently its to encourage and promote their 1-child per family policy...Interesting....their post box is the traditional kind(the one where even Mr. Bean got himself into..haha)....the streetside telephone booths are similar to the english ones...large red containers with doors...kool yeah...the roads are VERY broad and pretty clean as well...thanx to WALMART...we can pretty much get everything that's available in Singapore...actually even things in Singapore are coming from here.....lol....
