According to China's Ministry of Health: I am an Internet Addict. It states that staying online 40 hours per week is a sign of Internet addiction. 40 hours would mean staying online somewhere between 5 - 6 hours per day. An average student uses the Internet more than that on a daily basis. My usage is probably close to 60 hours per week. And I can bet half the population is probably on the internet for more than 40 hours till The Great Firewalls of China deem too annoying.
Oh how silly. :O) Every one that drinks alcohol is not and addict just as anyone that uses the internet is not an addict, it's all about how and why you do it.
ReplyDeleteWhen my health problems were at their worst I was online about 12-15 hours a day, not because I was addicted but because I had nothing else to do with my time. *shakes head*
Lolz...thesedays everyone is online easily for more than 40 hrs. The team that must have conducted this survey surely must have crossed all the limits of being online....
